Rick the Hammer RIP, nice touch from WHU

Sadly my Brother in Law Ricky Hammond died on Sunday after a short battle with cancer, he was a football man and the local clubs he worked for as a coach in and around Battersea and Wandsworth have arranged for his image to be shown on the big screen at the final home game against Southampton.
He was a lifelong hammer, who has departed this earth far too soon, a great mate to me and a loving, kind and considerate husband to my Sister. Whenever I came back to the UK he would sort me out tickets for games, we would make a day of it, Pie and Mash, go to the game then a curry and a skin full of beer, many happy memories.
RIP Rick, you were a Gent and one of a kind.

For all the gits at the tops faults, the people who deal with this kind of thing at the club are top notch. Got my Nan on a screen and they held back printing by 12 hours of the programme to fit a tribute to her into it for a particular game.

RIP fella, nothing really means anything towards the end other than family with that cunt disease I'm sure, but at least the hammers had given him more smiles than frowns in his final months.
